[In the case of the hive] being one handbreadth high off the ground, If there is uncleanness below it or in the house or above it, everything becomes unclean .
הָיְתָה גְבוֹהָה מִן הָאָרֶץ טֶפַח, טֻמְאָה תַחְתֶּיהָ אוֹ בַבַּיִת אוֹ בְתוֹכָהּ אוֹ עַל גַּבָּהּ, הַכֹּל טָמֵא:

היתה גבוהה. לעיל דפיה לחוץ קתני טומאה תחתיה או בבית [או על גבה, הכל טמא אלא תוכה,] והכא דפיה לפנים, הכל טמא:
היתה גבוהה – above (see Mishnah 1), its walls are outside as its teaches [in the Mishnah] the defilement that is under it or in the house [or on top of it, everything is impure, other than what is within it,] but here its walls are within, everything is impure.
