אהלות פרק ט"ו משנה י׳
One who touches a corpse and touches vessels, one who overshadows a corpse and touches vessels, they [the vessels] are unclean. One who overshadows a corpse and overshadows vessels, one who touches a corpse and overshadows vessels, they [the vessels] are clean. If his hands are a handbreadth wide, they are unclean. Two houses, and in each there is a half an olive's worth of corpse and he puts one hand into each house: If his hands are a handbreadth wide, he brings uncleanness; But if not, he does not bring uncleanness.
הַנּוֹגֵעַ בְּמֵת וְהַנּוֹגֵעַ בְּכֵלִים, הַמַּאֲהִיל עַל הַמֵּת וְהַנּוֹגֵעַ בְּכֵלִים, טְמֵאִין. מַאֲהִיל עַל הַמֵּת וּמַאֲהִיל עַל הַכֵּלִים, הַנוֹגֵעַ בְּמֵת וּמַאֲהִיל עַל הַכֵּלִים, טְהוֹרִים. אִם יֵשׁ בְּיָדוֹ פוֹתֵחַ טֶפַח, טְמֵאִין. שְׁנֵי בָתִּים וּבָהֶן כִּשְׁנֵי חֲצָאֵי זֵיתִים, פָּשַׁט אֶת שְׁתֵּי יָדָיו לָהֶן, אִם יֵשׁ בְּיָדָיו פּוֹתֵחַ טֶפַח, מֵבִיא אֶת הַטֻּמְאָה. וְאִם לָאו, אֵינוֹ מֵבִיא אֶת הַטֻּמְאָה:

המאהיל על המת ונוגע בכלים. הכלים טמאין טומאת שבעה מטעם חיבורים, כגון דבשעה שנגע במת או מאהיל עליו, נוגע כמו כן בכלים:
ואם יש בידיו פותח טפח טמאים. כיון דידיו מאהילות על המת ועל הכלים, מביאות את הטומאה:
שני בתים. ופתחיהן מכוונים זה כנגד זה:
מביא את הטומאה. ונשארו שני הבתים טמאים. דאוהל של ידיו מצרף את הטומאה כאילו שני החצאים מונחים בזה ובזה:
ואם לאו. דאין בידיו פותח טפח, גברא מיהא טמא הוי כדתנן לקמן ועל עצמן בכל שהן, אבל שני הבתים טהורים:
המאהיל על המת ונוגע בכלים – the vessels are impure for a period of seven days because of attachments, as for example, that at the time that he touched the corpse or overshadowed it, a person who touches likewise with vessels.
ואם יש בידיו פותח טפח טמאים – since his hands overshadow over the corpse and over the vessels, they bring the defilement in.
שני בתים – and their openings correspond with one another.
מביא את הטומאה – and they remained as two impure houses. For a tent of his hands combines the defilement as if two halves ae placed in this one (i.e., hand) and that one (i.e., hand).
ואם לאו – that there isn’t an opening of a handbreadth in his hands. A person, however, is impure, as it is taught in the Mishnah further on [Chapter 16, Mishnah 1] and on themselves with whatever amount, but the two houses are ritually pure.
