If the nega reappears on the garment, the patch is protected. If it reappears on the patch the garment must be burned. One who makes a patch from a garment that was isolated and then pronounced pure, and then the nega reappeared on the garment, the patch must be burned. If it reappeared on the patch, the first garment must be burned, and the patch serves the second garment while the two signs are under observation.

ืืืจ ืื ืืข ืืืื โ in another place from the cloth, but not upon the patch that he placed on the place of the tear.
ืืฆืื ืืช ืืืืืืช โ when he burns the entire cloth, as it is written (Leviticus 13:57): "ืืื ืชืจืื ืขืื"/โAnd if it occurs again [in the cloth โ whether in warp or in woof โ or in any article of skin],โ and he burns the cloth. [But] he saves the patch, that patch that he put on the place of the tear he saves, and he doesnโt burn it with the cloth.
ืืืจ ืืืืืืช โ o that place that he attached to it.
ืฉืืจืฃ ืืช ืืืื โ as if it returned to the cloth itself. But the patch does not require burning, but rather if it is three [handbreadths] by three [handbreadths], he isolates/quarantines it, and if it remained unchanged two weeks or it spread in the first week, he burns it. But if it is less than three [fingerbreadths] by three [fingerbreadths] it is not susceptible to uncleanness by plagues.
ืืืืื ืื ืืืืกืืจ โ that he made a patch from the piece of cloth that had been in isolation on the pure/clean cloth. And the isolated one is called to a cloth that remained unchanged in the first week but in the second became pale/dim, that he tears out from it the plague and burns what he tore, but the rest of the cloth is called ืืืกืืจ/isolated/quarantined.
ืืืจ ืื ืืข ืืืื โ that is isolated/quarantined. That this piece that was taken from it which is now a patch for a pure cloth, even though the cloth that is isolated/quarantined requires burning, as it is written (Leviticus 13:57): "ืืื ืชืจืื ืขืื ืืืื"/โAnd if it occurs again in the cloth.โ
ืืฆืื ืืช ืืืืืืช โ that is this patch that was taken from it and attached on to a pure/clean cloth, we save/protect it and we donโt burn it with the quarantined/isolated cloth.
ืืืจ โ the plague.
ืืืืืืช โ to this piece that was taken from the isolated/quarantined [cloth].
ืืฉืจืฃ โ the quarantined [cloth] in every place that it is , as if it was the piece that was attached to it. And that piece may serve he second cloth that is attached to it. ืืกืืื ืื โ that it is shut up/isolated/quarantined with the second cloth. For the law of the second is as if the plague is in it, whether in regard to isolation, or whether in regard to burning and washing and every matter. But after it served the second cloth, even if the plague went away completely from the piece, it (requires burning, for when the plague returned from its outset, it was already required burning.
